Facility Use Policy

1. Springboro Church of Christ owns property at 300 So. Main Street, Springboro, OH, all of which is used to promote its purposes and beliefs.  Springboro Church of Christ seeks to exercise wise stewardship over all aspects of its property.  Such stewardship may include non-worship uses or occasional guest use from time to time for purposes consistent with Springboro Church of Christ’s purposes and beliefs.  Based on these considerations, Springboro Church of Christ may allow use of its worship facility in accordance with the following requirements and guidelines:
   
   1. Property or facility use shall be requested by a fully completed and signed application. Incomplete or unsigned applications will not be accepted or reviewed.
      
   2. The Elders, Trustees and/or designated persons shall make decisions regarding the use of the worship facility considering what is in the best interests of Springboro Church of Christ.
      
   3. Springboro Church of Christ’s property shall only be used for purposes and in ways that are consistent with the Bible and Statements of Belief defined in Article 2.  The Elders, Trustees and/or designated persons shall have final say regarding what uses are consistent or contrary to the Bible or Statements of Belief.
      
   4. Any use of Springboro Church of Christ’s property by a non-member or group not having a member of Springboro Church of Christ within its membership shall be memorialized with a written agreement identifying the individual(s) or group, their specific use of the property, the timeframe for which they will have use of the property, specific requirements for use of the property and any other considerations deemed appropriate by the property use decision makers.  The written agreement shall be signed by both parties.
      
   5. If Springboro Church of Christ’s insurance for the use of the property does not cover the proposed use, the individual(s) or group shall provide certificates of coverage as necessary for full coverage of the use of the property.
